Luxury wall panels
Luxury wall panels. The look of stone, without the slab.
Book-matched marble, stone, metal, mirror and fabric finishes for luxury interiors and bathrooms. Every Carbon Rock Board is £232 ex VAT, whichever finish you choose.
In short
What makes a wall panel luxurious?
A luxury wall panel pairs a convincing finish with a rigid core: book-matched marble, stone, metal or mirror on a board that stays flat and carries a real fire rating. Carbon Rock Board is A1 rated, 5 or 8mm thick, and £232 a 1220 × 2400mm board ex VAT in every finish.
What to look for
Six marks of a luxury wall panel.
A rigid core
A 5 or 8mm mineral board stays flat under raking light, where thin PVC shows every bump in the wall behind it.
A sequenced print
Veins and grain that run from one board to the next, so a wall reads as one slab rather than a set of repeats.
The right sheen
High gloss for a hallway or bathroom, satin or matt behind a TV, where gloss reflects the screen and every lamp.
Finished edges
Aluminium trims on every exposed edge and corner, so no cut core ever shows.
A real fire rating
A1 to BS EN 13501-1, not just a surface-spread Class 1 or Class 0, if the wall is near a fire or an escape route.
No upkeep
Wipe-clean, with no grout, no sealing and no repainting. A luxury finish should not become a chore.

Luxury interior wall panels
Marble that flows across the whole wall.
Real marble slabs are cut and laid so the veins run from one to the next. Our UHD continuous panels are printed and numbered in sequence to do the same, so a TV wall, a hotel lobby or a bedroom reads as a single slab.
They are artificial, and we say so: a printed and coated face on a rigid core. That is what makes them light, waterproof and a fraction of the cost and weight of stone.

Luxury bathroom wall panels
Marble in the shower, with no grout to clean.
SPC waterproof panels are waterproof from core to surface and anti-mould, in marble and stone finishes. One 1220 × 2440mm panel covers almost three square metres of shower wall.
Carbon Rock Board in a stone grain finish suits the rest of the bathroom, with the same wipe-clean surface and an A1 fire rating.

What are luxury wall panels?
Luxury, or luxurious, wall panels have a premium finish on a rigid, flat core: book-matched marble, natural stone looks, brushed metal, mirror and fabric weaves. What separates them from budget panels is the core and the print, not the name. A thin PVC sheet ripples over an uneven wall; a rigid board stays flat.
Are luxury artificial wall panels any good?
The good ones are hard to tell from stone at normal viewing distance. Look for a sequenced print, so veins carry across the joints rather than repeating on every board, and a matt or satin face behind a TV, where gloss reflects the screen.
Can luxury wall panels go in a bathroom?
Yes, if the panel is made for it. Our SPC waterproof panels are waterproof from core to surface, and Carbon Rock Board in a marble or stone finish is waterproof and wipe-clean. With no grout lines, a panelled shower wall stays looking new for longer than tiles.
How much do luxury wall panels cost?
Carbon Rock Board is £232 a 1220 × 2400mm board ex VAT, under £80 per m². The price is the same for every finish, so a mirror or metal board costs no more than a plain one.
Are luxury wall panels fire rated?
Carbon Rock Board is A1, non-combustible to BS EN 13501-1, which is why we build media walls and fire surrounds with it. Many plastic-based luxury panels are not, so ask for the certificate before fitting one near an electric fire.
Is luxury wall panelling hard to fit?
No more than any rigid board: adhesive on a flat wall, battens or a frame on an uneven one, and trims on every edge. We fit Carbon Rock Board in Glasgow and the Central Belt at £49 per m² ex VAT.
