Where they work
Where mirror wall panels work best.
Alcoves
Mirror in the alcoves either side of a chimney breast or TV.
Hallways
A narrow hall feels wider with light bounced off one wall.
North-facing rooms
Doubles the light in a room that never gets direct sun.
Behind lit shelving
Ripple mirror behind lit niches multiplies the glow.
Bars and restaurants
Black or gold mirror back walls that wipe clean.
Dressing rooms
Full-height mirror boards on a wardrobe wall.
Are mirror wall panels made of glass?
No. They are Carbon Rock Boards with a mirror-finish face, so they cut, fix and trim like the rest of the range rather than like glass, and carry the same A1 fire rating.
How much do mirror wall panels cost?
£232 a 1220 × 2400mm board ex VAT, under £80 per m², the same as every other finish.
Which mirror finishes are there?
Gold, silver, black and white mirror, plus ripple gold and ripple silver mirror, which have a textured surface that softens the reflection.
Do mirror wall panels make a room look bigger?
Yes. Mirror in an alcove or a narrow hallway bounces light and makes the space read wider. A full wall of mirror is a lot to live with; two alcoves or a pair of narrow panels are usually enough.
Should I put mirror panels behind a TV?
Not directly behind the screen, where you will see the room reflected while you watch. Mirror works best either side of the TV, in alcoves, or behind lit shelving.
Can mirror wall panels go in a bathroom?
Yes. The surface is waterproof and wipe-clean, so a mirror finish works on a bathroom wall away from the direct shower spray.
