Our agreement with you

Terms of Service

Clear terms for quotes, orders, delivery, installation, returns, and your rights under UK law.

1) Acceptance of Terms

By using The Wall Shop’s website, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you’re acting for a company, you confirm you’re authorised to bind that company. We may update these terms periodically; the latest version will appear on this page with its effective date.

2) Quotes, Designs & Orders

  • Validity: Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Scope: The final scope is defined in your approved drawings/specifications (including finish choices and any bespoke requirements).
  • Approval: Orders are accepted when we confirm in writing and any required deposit is paid.
  • Changes: Variations after approval may affect price and timelines; we will confirm in writing before proceeding.

3) Pricing, Deposits & Payment Terms

  • Currency & VAT: Prices are in GBP and may be subject to VAT.
  • Deposits: Custom or large orders typically require a deposit; remaining balances are due per invoice milestones.
  • Overdue: Late payment may pause production/installation and accrue interest in line with UK legislation.

4) Delivery, Access & Risk

  • Scheduling: We’ll coordinate delivery/installation dates with you and advise of any site requirements.
  • Access: Provide safe access, clear working space, and confirmed power/wall conditions.
  • Risk & Title: Risk passes on delivery/installation; title passes once paid in full.

5) Installation & Site Conditions

  • Permissions: You are responsible for any landlord/management permissions and structural checks if required.
  • Health & Safety: You must ensure a safe working environment; we may refuse unsafe work areas.
  • Rescheduling: Please provide at least 2 working days’ notice to avoid call-out or rebooking fees.

6) Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

  • Stock items: Usually returnable within 30 days in original condition/packaging (contact us for an RMA and return instructions).
  • Custom/bespoke: Made-to-order items follow the project terms; cancellations may incur costs for work/materials already committed.
  • Faults/Damage: Report within a reasonable time; we’ll repair/replace per your statutory rights and any applicable warranties.

7) Warranties & Aftercare

We stand behind our products and workmanship. Please see our Warranty page for coverage and the claim process.

8) Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the invoiced amount for the relevant order.

9) Intellectual Property

Plans, drawings, images, and content on our website remain our or our licensors’ intellectual property. You may not copy, redistribute, or use them commercially without prior written consent.

10) Privacy

We handle personal data according to our Privacy Policy.

11) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of Scotland. The courts of Scotland have exclusive jurisdiction.
