Media wall fireplaces
A linear electric fire built into the module below the television, with lit shelving either side and every cable inside the frame. No flue, no chimney, no gas. Walls from £1,375 plus VAT, fires from £1,318.50.
Send your wall width and whether you want the slimline or the premium heat output fire, and we will come back with the price.

How it is built in
Putting a TV and fireplace on one wall is the whole point of a media wall, and a media wall fireplace is not a surround dropped against the plaster. The recess is cut at our factory into the module that sits below your television, and the wall panel is bonded around it, so the fire finishes flush with the finish you chose.
Behind it, the aluminium frame carries the fire, the TV and the lit shelving, and the cables and the fused spur run inside the modules. Nothing is visible on the face of the wall except the flame.
Because the fire is electric, the wall can go anywhere. There is no flue to build, no chimney to line and no gas supply to move — which is what makes a fireplace possible on the wall you actually want it on.
The two fires
Both are LCD electric fires made for our walls, both give out heat and both are fitted into the module at the factory. The only decision is how much heat you want.

Before you choose
The fire needs a fused spur behind the module. No flue, no vent, no chimney, no gas safety certificate and no building work.
Both fires vent forward from the face of the module rather than up the wall, so a television can sit above the slimline or the premium heat output model.
The premium heat output model takes the chill off a room in the shoulder months. It is a second source of heat beside your central heating, not a replacement for it.
Flame effect and heater are controlled separately, so the fire can be on all summer for the look of it and cost next to nothing to run.
The recess is made before the wall leaves us. Tell us the fire at quotation stage, not on installation day, and the module arrives ready for it.
The lit niches and any TV surround lighting are separate from the fire and on their own switch or dimmer, so the wall is not all-or-nothing after dark.

Or no fire at all
Not every media wall wants a fire. Where the room already has a stove, or the seating faces a window, the module below the television takes a long lit shelf instead.
The price of the wall does not change: the fire is a separate line either way.
FAQ
Yes, and a TV above an electric fire is the layout we build most often. An electric fire has no flue and no live flame, so the heat a real fireplace sends up the wall is not there. Both our fires vent forward from the face of the module rather than up it, and the heater switches off independently of the flame.
Only the compact package does: the 800mm module with a fire is £1,650 plus VAT and the fire is part of it. On the other packages the wall is built around your fire and the fire is priced separately — £1,318.50 plus VAT for the slimline model, £1,693.80 plus VAT for the premium heat output model.
No. Both fires are electric. They need a fused spur behind the module and nothing else — no flue, no chimney, no ventilation and no gas safety check. That is why a media wall can go on any wall in the room.
Both give out heat. The premium heat output fire carries the larger heater and will take the chill off a room in the shoulder months; the slimline is the lower output of the two. On both, the heater is controlled independently of the flame effect, so the flame can run on its own.
Yes. Send us the make, model and the exact opening it needs and we will build the module around it. Tell us before the wall is made: the recess is cut at the factory, not on site.
Yes. The module that would hold the TV takes a large lit shelf instead, and the fire stays where it is. It is the right choice where the seating faces a window rather than the wall.
Any width. Above 2 metres you are into the standard packages, which start with two 1000mm centre modules at £1,950 plus VAT. Between 0.9 and 2 metres, the compact 800mm module with a fire and one wall panel is the answer.
