# Accessibility statement

The Wall Shop Ltd wants everyone to be able to browse our walls, price a project and order online. This statement covers www.thewallshop.co.uk.

## The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Every page is checked with automated tools when it changes, and we test the main journeys by keyboard and with a screen reader.

## What you can expect

- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip straight to the content.

- Text, form fields and focus outlines meet the WCAG contrast ratios, and text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content.

- Images carry a text description; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.

- Animation and slideshows pause, and stay still if your device asks for reduced motion.

- Form fields are labelled, required fields are marked, and errors are shown beside the field they belong to.

- The quote planner announces price changes to screen readers as you go.

## Known gaps

- Some manufacturer product films have no captions or transcript yet. The product page describes the same features in text.

- Some manufacturer product images show the device’s own on-screen text, which is not always in English.
